Hunting periods

Every hunter knows that there are time limits for hunting certain game. They are important for the conservation of the animal population and must be respected.

Deadline for hunting big game

  1. Red deer (males and breeders) - 1 September to 31 January.
  2. Red deer (female) - from 1 October to 31 December.
  3. Fallow Deer (male and fawns) - September 1 to January 31.
  4. Fallow Deer (female) - October 1 to December 31.
  5. Mouflon (male, trophy mature) - year-round.
  6. Mouflon (male and female) - from 1 September to 31 January.
  7. Roe deer (male and breeding) - from 1 May to 30 October.
  8. Roe deer (female) - from 1 September to 30 October.
  9. Wild boar (subsample hunting - males, yearlings, one and two year old pigs, females) - year round.
  10. Wild boar (group hunt) from 1 October to the second Sunday in January.
  11. Wild boar (group hunting in hunting yards at intensive management bases - males and breeding) - from 1 October to the last day of February.
  12. Wolf - all year round.

Deadline for hunting small game - mammals

  1. Wild hare - from 1 October to 31 December.
  2. Squirrel - from 1 November to 31 December.
  3. Ondatra - from 1 November to the last day of February.
  4. Nutria - from 1 November to the last day of February.
  5. Chakal - all year round.
  6. Chakal (group hunting outside the forest fund) - from 1 January to the last day of February.
  7. Fox - all year round.
  8. Ethnic dog - all year round.
  9. Yazovets - from 1 August to the last day of February.

Small game hunting periods - birds

  1. Colchis pheasant - from 1 October to 31 January.
  2. Colchis pheasant (farmed) - 1 October to 28 February.
  3. Pheasant hunting - from 1 October to 31 January.
  4. Hunting pheasants (farmed) - from 1 October to 28 February.
  5. Partridge - from 1 October to 30 November.
  6. Partridges (farmed) - 1 October to 31 January.
  7. Mountain Keklik - from 1 October to 30 November.
